Yea, I’m Still Alive
So its been a while since I’ve posted anything here…
So what have I been up to?
Well I made the Photo Staff on TFW. *joy* Which was apparently a big concern of mine around the time of my last post.
In other news, I’ve been making progress with my own site: Fallen Empire Toys where I’ve put my photography skills to use. I review toys, everything from Transformers to Marvel figures, and enjoy every minute of it.
Fresh back from BotCon in Orlando, I’ve slowly been making my way through reviewing my “toy haul” from the convention so keep an eye on the site and enjoy the fruits of all my hard work.
Hopefully this is something that I can keep up with, I really enjoy having a place to post all my personal crap and just get stuff off my chest.
In them mean time, check out ma Seekhaz!
Got Invited To A Movie Premiere In NY
OK I’m sure nobody cares but I wrote a couple of blog posts about about the Canzo Empyrean move after seeing a few of the trailers on YouTube a while ago, and when I checked my email Monday I had an invitation from Fornal Films to come to NY for the US sneak preview/premiere.
Sounds like it’s going to be a blast! Me and a couple of other contributers from The Restricted (I was able get me +2 on the invite) are going to NY and we’re going to meet with members of Ars Subterranea. They’re going to lead us along a 40 min subterranean hike to the secret location of The Mestabah Megiddo Theater for a private screening of the movie where we’ll be given a sample of “The Specter’s Citrus Blue”…
Not so sure what to really expect, but the production value put into the event itself sounds like it will be worth the trip.
Sorry not trying to brag or be cocky, I just think it’s cool that somebody paid any attention to what I was writing.
Be sure to check The Restricted for a full review of the movie and events by myself and Tony Glasses. http://www.therestricted.wordpress.com
Update
Just added a new tutorial on how to take video from YouTube and load them onto your iPod over at The Restricted. Other than that, not much going on here lately, other than a mad rushed blog-o-thon to get some conted up over there… “blog a day” didn’t have nothing on this lol
How To Hack Facebook In less than 1 Minute
Umm… yea… the title says it all, non-harmfull but it still screams hours of fun… enjoy
Canzo Empyrean… Need I Say More?
So I’ve noticed that I’ve been getting a lot of hits on my blog from over the Canzo Empyrean trailer, a video that I found while looking for some footage from the upcoming live action G.I. Joe movie. I found the preview by accident but let me tell you, I want to see this movie so bad I’m practically foaming at the mouth!
Anyway, I thought I’d take some time and share with everyone else, some of the stuff I’ve found since stumbling across it, but first off for those of you who haven’t seen it yet, here’s the original trailer that started the whole thing:
Awesome! That’s all I can say… Awesome.
So here are some more video clips that I’ve been lucky enough to come across since I initially found the preview

Canzo Empyrean Kinolingus Erectus
Harry, a reader in Monrovia Liberia who heads up a local fan club for the movie, was nice enough to send me this link of Chancellor (the mastermind behind it all) promoting what I’m assuming to be the movie premier over there:
Here are a couple of the more innovative marketing adds that I’ve came across too:
Pastor Phil takes on Canzo Empyrean
This is the best one so far but for some reason he has disabled the Embed option on the video so you’ll have to click on the link, but trust me; it’s worth it!
“Big Up” Harry for all the info and links you provided!
Final thoughts? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: “I.HAVE.TO.SEE.THIS.MOVIE!“
And Some Heroes Came Along…
OK, so I just started watching Heroes for the first time at the recommendation of a friend… Awsum!
Admittedly, I didn’t give this show a fair shake at first. I don’t really have a whole lot of time for watching TV, so I have to pick and choose what shows I watch/DVR. I usually record one show a night (excluding various news shows) to watch and that’s enough to give me my TV fix for the night.
Just so happens that Heroes and Studio 60 both debuted on the same night and I chose the latter of the two for my after work entertainment. Then with Heroes being one of the major factors in Studio 60 getting canceled, like a spoiled child, I refused to watch it strictly out of spite… I still feel like Studio 60 had some of the best writing on television at the time and in the midst of all this reality television; if it had been given a different time slot it would have done very well.
So long story short: given the lack of new episodes of anything to watch (as a result of the recent writers strike), I’ve had some time to check out a few programs I wouldn’t have otherwise watched. I may have… um… lets say… acquired the first season of Heroes… *cough* torrents *cough* *cough*… I’m just kidding, I would never advocate the illegal downloading of copywrited materials from the internet, I bought them from Wal*Mart. :\ *rolls eyes*
Honest!
Regardless… come next season they’ve got a new viewer, I’ve just got to get caught up by then. It’s a good thing my iPod holds 80 gigs worth of shit.
P.S.
Just for the record: I did buy the first season, it just may not have been before I “previewed” it by other means, and it was money well spent!
So Long & Farewell
3GP your days are numbered! You’ve been a great little proggy for a long time, but unfortunately I’ve strayed and tasted the fruit of another. Don’t’ get me wrong, I plan on keeping you around for a little while and stringing you a long, just in case things don’t work out as well as I hope with this new video converter, but to be honest I think we‘ve simply grown apart… and we both know it.
It’s not you, it’s me… oh who am I kidding? It’s you that I have a problem with. I’m tired of you constantly letting the audio and video fall out of sync with each other; I know it’s not on a consistent basis, but enough is enough. We’ve been together for a long time, since the first week or so after the Sony PSP came out, and I’ve kept you around long after I made my move to the iPod, but I think it’s time that we went out separate ways.
I’ve kept you around for a long time and been loyal when it came to video conversion, but I have to tell you… this new proggy, Jodix, is just more dependable than you. Although I’ve enjoyed your ease of use, simply being “easy” is not a good reason to keep someone around. So it is with great sadness that I remove you from my hard drive.
Rebirthing The Restricted
OK, so just started my newest little project, which I’m sure will turn out to be my newest time consuming sucker of sanity, but I did it anyway. Here lately I’ve notice that my blog has strayed from what I had originally intended it to be, and turned into more of an online diary. There’s nothing wrong with that, but unfortunately that’s left me with nowhere to put my more structured writing/articles that I originally started this blog with.
Solution? Start another blog just for that type of writing. So I present to you… The Restricted, a continuation of a project that Tony, Joe and I started a long time ago. I’ve been playing around with the idea for quite some time now, but have been putting it off because I really didn’t want to undertake the project all by myself. Tony and Joe however are otherwise occupied with writing their new television series (good luck to you by the way), and I figured it was do or die time and if I didn’t do it now the motivation would soon dwindle away to nothing.
So check me out as the sole contributor right now at therestricted.wordpress.com, and keep an eye out for new authors and contributors in the near future.
I still plan on making regular entries here and just keep them more personal, hopefully I will be able to build enough of a reader base with The Restricted to generate a little revenue and invest a little bit back into the publication, maybe do a weekly/monthly podcast to go along with it. Who knows?
Anyways, don’t forget to check it out and enjoy!
